Pixel Lineage Race Evolution: Heirlooms and Heart Blood
Plan Pixel Lineage race evolution with matching Heirloom and Heart Blood checks, build-fit questions, farming preparation and careful reroll decisions.
Identify the current race, read its live evolution panel and collect the matching Heirloom and Heart Blood materials reported in dated race references. Verify quantities and effects before consuming anything.

Check the matching materials before evolving
Pixel Lineage race evolution is an upgrade decision for the race your hero already uses. The practical route is to identify that race, read its current evolution requirement, obtain the matching materials, and verify the new effect before confirming. A rare-looking item is not enough if it belongs to a different race or progression system.
Gamezebo’s October 13 race guide reports that awakening requires a corresponding Heirloom and Heart Blood, obtained through harder progression. Destructoid’s October 13 discussion independently describes race Heirlooms and the importance of evolved effects. Neither establishes a complete, developer-published current cost table for every race. This guide keeps the named materials and the decision process while leaving quantities and exact drop percentages to the live item and evolution panels.
If you are still learning ordinary encounters, start with the beginner guide. If acquiring the material requires an unfamiliar activity, use the dungeon preparation checklist. Race evolution is easier to evaluate once you have a repeatable run to compare against.
Keep race, class and talent progression separate
A race supplies passive bonuses or a racial action. Your class supplies a different combat kit, and a talent is another modifier. These layers may work together, but the items and menus that change them are not automatically interchangeable.
The official class promotional image names Warrior, Thief, Mage, Fist, Bard and Archer and advertises Super Classes. That does not mean every race awakens through the class progression menu. Do not copy an Ultra Class or Trainer’s Shrine instruction into a race-evolution recipe unless the current game explicitly makes that connection.
Open the hero’s race information and record its exact name. Then read the base effect and any preview of the evolved effect. Make sure an online recommendation is discussing the same state. A ranking that judges an evolved race can overstate what your unevolved hero currently provides.
Use a requirement sheet, not memory
Before farming, create a short checklist with the race, required item names, quantities currently owned and the source of the requirement. The current evolution interface is the best place to resolve a mismatch between dated articles. Keep spelling consistent; a similarly named Heirloom from another race is not evidence that your requirement is satisfied.
| Field | What to record | What it prevents |
|---|---|---|
| Current race | Exact name on the hero panel | Farming for a different race |
| Evolution effect | The preview or current description | Confusing base and evolved bonuses |
| Heirloom | Full item name and required quantity | Assuming all Heirlooms are equivalent |
| Heart Blood | Exact name and displayed requirement | Spending a similar-looking material |
| Other conditions | Any visible progression or currency condition | Arriving at the panel too early |
| Confirmation | What the action consumes or changes | Treating a permanent choice as a preview |
If a requirement is missing from the panel, do not fill it with a number from an unrelated race. Record the gap and check the developer’s current help or update information. An incomplete checklist is a reason to postpone spending, not a reason to guess.
What the dated sources agree on
The useful agreement is structural. Gamezebo describes awakening as available across races, including Human, and names matching Heirloom and Heart Blood materials. Destructoid describes the Race Evolution update as making race choice more important and notes that some less rare races become useful when their evolved effects fit a build.
That is enough to reject a simplistic rule that every common race should be rerolled immediately. It does not establish that every race has identical costs or an identical farming route. Your hero’s class and available progression still decide whether an evolution helps now or becomes a longer-term target.
The published numerical details also conflict in places. For example, the dated references do not agree on every Ashborn health bonus or Goblin loot bonus. Rather than quietly choosing the larger value, this site omits a current stat and roll-odds table. Use the live race description when the exact percentage would affect a purchase or reroll.
Farm a confirmed requirement on a reliable route
Gamezebo associates evolution artefacts with Hard and Nightmare survival. A later community update summary discusses Heartblood in Nightmare and further Torment progression. These are dated reports, not a guarantee that a particular enemy drops your item at a fixed rate.
Read the current in-game loot information for the exact material. Establish the destination and any difficulty condition before repeating a run. If your target is actually associated with a dungeon or a different activity, switch the plan to match that information rather than farming a familiar area indefinitely.
Choose a setting you can complete consistently. A higher setting may look attractive, but incomplete attempts consume play time and can create additional recovery work. Track your actual completed runs and target drops. Compare routes by the result your account achieves, rather than a creator’s gold-farming title or a single lucky screenshot.
If a market or auction offers the item, compare the exact name and quantity with your requirement. A listing shows an offer, not an official fair price, a guaranteed drop source, or proof that the item will evolve your current race. Do not trade away your working equipment merely to test whether a similarly named material is correct.
Match the evolved effect to your actual actions
Evaluate an evolution by asking which actions benefit. Does the preview affect attacks, magic, recovery, a particular damage type, or an opening team effect? Then check how often your chosen class uses that part of its kit. A powerful effect that rarely triggers in your runs may be less useful than a modest effect that is always relevant.
Consider the problem that currently stops the hero. If damage is sufficient but recovery is poor, a sustain-related effect may be worth investigating. If resources run out before an encounter ends, a raw damage ranking alone may not answer the problem. These are comparison questions, not promises that a named race supplies an undocumented bonus.
Also check whether the evolution helps ordinary farming or only a specialised setup you do not yet own. A future build can be a valid goal, but separate that plan from an immediate improvement. This distinction prevents spending all available materials on an upgrade whose benefit depends on another missing item or class.
Decide whether to evolve or reroll first
Keep the current race when its base and evolved effects suit the class you intend to play. Consider a reroll when there is a specific incompatibility you understand, rather than because a tier list displays a different rarity in a brighter colour.
Before rerolling an evolved or heavily invested hero, read the current warning concerning what changes or is lost. This guide does not establish a universal material-refund or evolution-retention rule. A free-looking reroll button can still change a setup you spent time building.
The Halloween race Dullahan is a separate access consideration. Gamezebo reports it as an event-store option rather than an ordinary roll-pool result. Check the active event shop and its current requirement before using Race Spins to chase it. This page does not guarantee event availability or quote an unverified live Candy price.
Verify the result after confirmation
When every displayed requirement is satisfied, review the confirmation one more time. Note the materials that will be consumed, then inspect the hero panel after the action. Confirm the expected state or effect instead of assuming that a visual animation proves the upgrade applied.
Test the upgraded hero on the same familiar route used before evolution. Keep class and equipment stable for that comparison. Observe the specific effect the preview promised: a relevant trigger, a resource change, or another visible outcome. If it does not appear, check the conditions before reporting a bug.
Return to the Pixel Lineage hub for the source trail and official game link. Use dungeons to prepare the next material run and beginner progression when a new hero needs a stable starting route. The goal is a coherent build you can explain, with materials spent on a verified requirement.
Step-by-step guide
- Identify race and evolved effect
Record the current race and compare its base description with the evolved preview before relying on a rarity ranking.
- Match the displayed materials
Read the full Heirloom and Heart Blood item names, quantities and other conditions directly from the current evolution interface.
- Confirm and test the change
Review consumption warnings, inspect the updated hero panel and compare the result on the same familiar route.
